FIELDBOSS Employee Spotlight: Meet Our Conference Trailblazers

Our team blends deep industry know-how with top-notch tech expertise, and we genuinely enjoy what we do. With our all-star lineup of CPAs, Certified Microsoft Technology Specialists, and seasoned consultants, we’re thrilled to share some fun facts about our conference-goers and what makes them stand out!

Meet Jonathan Taub – President of FIELDBOSS

Jonathan Taub is the President of FIELDBOSS, where he navigates the company’s vision and strategy while focusing on client and staff acquisition. His days are spent on the big and small: ensuring that all controllable risks are managed, and we don’t have any burnt-out light bulbs or scratched paint in our head office. The best part of his job? The thrill when new clients or staff choose to trust FIELDBOSS.

Though rarely not working, an off-duty Jonathan enjoys time alone in the gym and shopping in ethnic grocery stores. If he could only eat one food forever, it would be grass-fed bone-in ribeye steak. Jonathan’s childhood dream was to become an accountant (true fact). He even briefly embraced that role before launching Rimrock Corporation, the parent company of FIELDBOSS. Today, he thrives alongside his coworkers in the fast-paced growth environment of FIELDBOSS, which has become an integral part of the rapidly evolving elevator industry.

Jonathan loves meeting new people and is eager to connect with industry leaders to drive the industry forward together.

Meet Jenn Schonekess – Upgrade Manager at FIELDBOSS

As the Upgrade Manager at FIELDBOSS, Jenn ensures that our existing clients benefit from our ever-expanding list of features while maintaining their current customizations. She manages all aspects of FIELDBOSS upgrades, including project management, organizational configurations, client training, and documentation. Her detailed site audits guarantee that our clients utilize FIELDBOSS to their fullest potential, providing them with the best possible experience. Jenn treasures the relationships she’s built with clients and loves seeing their positive reactions to new features that simplify their workdays.

Jenn balances her professional life with love and cuddles from her two Australian Shepherd mix dogs, Marsden and River. Despite her early 9 o’clock bedtime, she still finds time to binge shows, most recently “The Bear,” and even mastered The Potato Chip Omelette from the show. But if she could only eat one food forever? It’s pizza, hands down!

Meet Brandon Stemmler – Senior Consultant at FIELDBOSS

As a Senior Consultant on the FIELDBOSS implementation team, Brandon is all about using his puzzle-solving and people skills to make transitions seamless and empower teams to harness the full potential of our platform. He specializes in configuring environments, aligning our software with clients’ unique processes, migrating data, and providing comprehensive training. Brandon loves the moment when clients “get it”—that lightbulb moment where they see just how transformative FIELDBOSS can be for their operations.

True to his nickname “Linguini,” from Ratatouille, Brandon once aspired to be a professional chef and is known among his friends for his impressive dishes. When pressed to do karaoke, his go-to is “You Sexy Thing” by Hot Chocolate. Can he sing? No. But he brings the passion!

An interesting fact about Brandon is that prior to joining FIELDBOSS, he managed elevator mod and construction projects. Brandon was known for finding solutions to complex problems that nobody else could. He even saved a customer $100,000 with his innovative solutions.

A common misconception Brandon encounters is that his work only benefits executives, but he’s dedicated to helping entire teams—from office staff to field technicians.

Meet Shani Maytav – Solution Consultant at FIELDBOSS

As a Solution Consultant at FIELDBOSS, Shani is all about driving client engagement through product demonstrations and optimizing internal operations with automation workflows. She designs and implements views and dashboards in Dynamics 365, enhancing lead tracking and sales management for data-driven decision-making.

Shani is energized every day by meeting new people and learning about their businesses, especially when they are family-owned operations. She has two dogs back home, who are so anxious they even have a prescription for cannabis pills, (which didn’t help). She is a certified Pilates instructor, but her real passion is travel. Shani’s office is decorated with photos from all the far-flung corners of the world, but she can’t decide which place has stolen her heart the most.

Meet Corey Barss – Director of Consulting at FIELDBOSS

Corey Barss leads the team of consultants responsible for delivering our FIELDBOSS solution. He ensures clients maximize FIELDBOSS’s potential by driving the creation of new software functionalities. His specialty? Optimizing client operations and tackling unique business challenges. The most rewarding part? Seeing clients thrive, witnessing the personal development of their staff, and helping develop the careers of his colleagues.

After work, Corey morphs into dad-mode, serving up French toast to his 2-year-old son. Last show he watched and loved? Watching the Toronto Maple Leafs lose in the playoffs—he’s convinced it’s the longest-running tragicomedy on TV. Corey also wants to clear up a common misconception: he doesn’t know a lot about computer hardware—unplugging and plugging it back in is usually his best advice!

Meet Jacque Armijo – Marketing Coordinator at FIELDBOSS

As the Marketing Coordinator at FIELDBOSS, Jacque Armijo brings a dynamic blend of visual creativity with administrative prowess to elevate our company’s industry presence. Her role encompasses everything from coordinating trade shows and supporting branding initiatives to designing compelling visual media. Her daily workflow has her juggling a variety of projects, from web pages to marketing materials, all of which are executed with precision and style.

When Jacque works from home, sometimes she is interrupted by Azi, her lovable Siamese cat, who can’t understand why the laptop gets to take up the prime cuddle spot. After hours, Jacque enjoys exploring the city on her bike, indulging in Korean BBQ and patio cocktails, and doodling in her sketchbook. To keep her mind sharp, she took up learning Japanese in 2019, though still struggles to put together sentences in conversation. Still unimpressed? Wait until you hear her karaoke rendition of “That Don’t Impress Me Much” by Shania Twain.

What sets Jacque apart is her ability to shift gears between solving complex design challenges and tackling the wide range of random tasks that come her way. She thrives on solving diverse challenges and transforming ideas into impactful results. What she enjoys most is seeing it all come to life – like the all-new booth designs making their debut in Atlantic City. Be sure to stop by at NAEC 2024 to see Jacque’s new booth and pick up her surprise illustrated giveaway—it’s a treat you won’t want to miss!
