With a record-breaking 17,000 attendees, Microsoft Inspire 2017 kicked off on July 10th in Washington D.C. Several significant announcements were made including one about the much-anticipated release of Sales and Marketing Apps for the Business Edition.
Last November, when Microsoft released Dynamics 365, the Business Edition was missing the Sales and Marketing Apps, two critical components. Both applications are now available in Preview for customers and partners participating in the Dynamics 365 Insider Program. The new Dynamics 365 for Sales and Dynamics 365 for Marketing applications in the Business edition are designed to help businesses nurture more sales-ready leads, close more deals faster, and make smarter decisions.
Microsoft also announced planned enhancements to existing applications. While already available in the US and Canadian markets, the geographic expansion of Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations, Business Edition (formerly Dynamics 365 for Financials, Business Edition) continues with general availability in the United Kingdom as of July 1st. In addition to the geographic expansion, they also announced plans to significantly increase the functionality and extensibility of Finance and Operations, Business edition later this year.
