The TSSA (the Technical Standards and Safety Authority) has now legislated that every building owner, who has one or more elevating devices in their building, must have an MCP in place by April 1, 2014. Failure to do so will result in TSSA’s regular enforcement actions which include: writing orders, levying fees and fines and, shutting the elevator(s) down. This makes it critical for all elevator service companies to comply.
With FieldBoss for Elevator Contractors, you can track all MCP maintenance requirements, break-fix calls, and category 1 & 5 repairs. All the maintenance tasks are laid out by service type (interval & elevator type) for the service technician and have an easy to use “checkbox” design. Once the technician chooses the location and service type, a filtered form with the appropriate maintenance tasks will appear. Once all the boxes are checked, the form can be printed and left on site and the maintenance visit is complete.
